Beta Upsilon Chapter
PHILANTHROPY
The Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity believes that in order to help foster the development of great young men an aspect of charity must be taught. Whether it is through money, labor, or support, the men of the Beta Upsilon chapter raise thousands of dollars each academic year while donating hundreds of hours to help support local, national, and international charities. At the Beta Upsilon chapter we help support other Greek philanthropic events as well as to lend a helping hand throughout the Bradley University and Peoria communities.

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation
“As a public bone marrow and blood stem cell registry, Gift of Life is a world leader in facilitating transplants for children and adults suffering from life threatening diseases including leukemia, lymphoma, other cancers, and genetic diseases. Gift of Life is an associate donor registry of the National Marrow Donor Program and an accredited registry by the World Marrow Donor Association.”
Heroes to Heroes Foundation
“Supporting all veterans regardless of military conflict, Heroes to Heroes provides a suicide prevention and post-traumatic stress management program through spiritual healing and peer support. Heroes to Heroes brings groups of 10 American veterans to Israel for a life-changing journey to assist them in returning to civilian life after serving their country.”
Israel Children’s Cancer Foundation
“ICCF offers clinical support for Israeli children suffering from the devastating disease of cancer, regardless of race, creed, or national origin. Nearly 500 children are diagnosed with cancer in Israel each year, most commonly with leukemia, brain tumors, bone cancers, neuroblastomas, and lymphomas. ICCF works with six of the largest hospitals and medical centers caring for 97% of all children diagnosed with cancer in Israel.”
IDF Widows and Orphans Organization
“IDFWO provides social, emotional, and financial support to widows and orphans who have suffered the greatest loss: that of a husband or father. Projects include financial support for health bills, grants for school supplies, educational scholarships, summer camps in the United States where orphans can unburden their pain and confront their feelings, and funding for Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations.”
Innovation: Africa
“With Special Consultative Status to the United Nations Economics & Social Council, Innovation: Africa brings Israeli innovation to African villages. In the past five years, Innovation: Africa has provided light, clean water, food, and proper medical care to more than 450,000 people in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, and Uganda through solar, drip irrigation, and clean water pumping technologies.”
MadaTech – The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology & Space
“As Israel’s premier institution of informal science education, MadaTech fosters a love of science among Israeli children and youth of all backgrounds. The museum hosts over 500,000 visitors each year, including 75,000 students, and aims to contribute to the successful integration of immigrants through subjects that are not language-bound and address the significant gender gaps in the science achievements of Israeli students.”

Taglit-Birthright Israel
“Birthright aims to change the course of Jewish history and ensure the continuity of the Jewish people by strengthening Jewish identity, Jewish communities, and solidarity with Israel via an educational trip to Israel for Jewish young adults around the world. More than 400,000 young Jewish people from 66 countries have received the gift of a free trip to Israel.”
